Bobby Bergeron: Re-elect for second 2-year term

Over 35 years experience in production and planning in the tradeshow and exposition industry. More specifically, working direct with show managers to guide them through the financial and operational hoops that every show experiences during show develop from year to year. Experienced in applying and developing a strategic plan for show management as well as connecting all of the primary show development functions so that effective and cohesive show grow is achieved. Bobby is efficient in creating and developing specific show marketing efforts and designs. Knowledge and verification of all the nuts and bolts that a general service contractor charges show management. He also has experience working with exhibitors at many levels, sale of booth space, rule and regulations within a show, creating a show plan, handling showsite ordering and freight logisitics, booth management and techniques for marketing and selling efficiencies.

Dave Brull: Re-elect for second 2-year term

If I could only use only one word to describe myself it would be passionate. I am lucky to be able to say I love what I do and truly enjoy the challenges that each day brings. I bring that energy to everything I do.

My focus is on transforming brand narratives into custom-made, three-dimensional, and virtual experiences that resonate deeply with communities. With a proven track record in experiential marketing, I’ve become a catalyst for creating environments where real connections are forged. The experiences my team and I deliver are not just visually stunning but also strategically designed to strengthen our clients’ relationships with their audiences that deliver on their business objectives.

My background in association management has taught me to be an active member of both the national and Chicago area marketing community. I have served on the Business Marketing Association (BMA) Chicago Chapter’s Membership Committee and co-chaired the Exhibit and Event Marketers Association (E2MA) Membership Committee. In addition I sit on the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM) Advisory Committee and the Board of Directors for the Exhibitor Advocate Association.

Glenda Brungardt: Re-elect for second 2-year term as Vice Chair

I am a seasoned professional with 46 years of experience at HP, including over 30 years dedicated to managing HP tradeshows and events. Throughout my career, I consistently delivered impactful brand messaging, curated engaging experiences, and executed successful events and tradeshows, establishing a strong reputation in the industry.

Although recently retired from HP, my passion for the events industry continues. I remain actively involved as an advocate and contributor, leveraging my extensive knowledge to serve in various capacities. I am committed to teaching and presenting at industry conferences, sharing insights and best practices with the next generation of event professionals.

Currently, I am proud to contribute to several key industry organizations:
• Board Member, The Exhibitor Advocate: Advocating for the needs and interests of exhibitors.
• Exhibitor Advisory Committee and Sustainability Task Force, EDPA: Working to enhance exhibitor experiences and promote sustainable practices.

I am passionate about advancing the events industry, particularly in the areas of sustainability and exhibitor advocacy. I look forward to continuing to contribute my expertise and to support the community that has been my professional home for decades.

Hector Garcia: Re-elect for second 2-year term as Secretary/Treasurer

Event marketing professional with 10+ years of experience in building event and experiential programs focused on enhancing them with efficient operating structures, technology, and data driven analysis to increase returns. Strong cross-functional experience leading within matrixed organizations. MBA in Digital Entrepreneurship.

I am committed to the events industry through collaboration with Exhibitor Media Group as a conference board member, Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) candidate mentor and speaker on branding and sponsorships.

Amanda Helgemoe: Re-elect for second 2-year term as Chair of the Board

Amanda Helgemoe founded Nuvista Event Management Services in January, 2000. Nationally recognized for its commitment to service, Nuvista specializes in project management, labor (I&D), and audio visual equipment rental. In June, 2014, Amanda sold a majority stake in Nuvista, which continues to operate as an independent company with expanded systems, training and staff.
 
Amanda is on the board of directors of the Exhibit and Event Marketers Association (E2MA) as well as on a number of committees dedicated to addressing industry wide issues and concerns. She also serves on the board of Exhibit Designers & Producers Association (EDPA) and is the events committee chair for the EDPA Foundation.

Most recently she received E2MA’s Intrepid Award for her work on E2MA’s advocacy committee. Amanda was born and raised in Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
